Activating Lumion Ultimate

I'm having trouble registering Lumion on my computer.

After the install, when I enter my username and password, a progressbar appears with an update header and I get an error message "Error connecting".

I checked my internet connexion and it's working.
What else can I do?

Hi leminilab, which version of Lumion are you using?

"Error connecting" typically means that a firewall is blocking the internet access to the license server. Is there any way you can check if Lumion is a "trusted application"?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I don't have any firewall installed. I have no idea how to check these internet security settings... I'm on Windows 7 64 bits.

I'm a bit worried I might miss the Pro upgrade offer deadline because I couldn't even try Lumion Ultimate so far...

Can you help me on this?

Thank you but it doesn't seem to work even though I allowed both Private/Home and Public for Lumion... :(

I'm restarting my computer now... Nah, it still doesn't work...
Update, Progress bar --> Error connecting

Could this have anything to do with my license being second-hand?
Maybe something needs to be done in your licese database (I really don't know what I'm talking about now...)?

Hi,

I did nothing special on my side, I think it's more on the Lumion team's side.
Your username and password need to be authorized on Lumion's servers.

I may well be wrong but I think it's something like that.

Which error message do you get when you try to activate Lumion, ANatalie?
