Hi there, i am pretty new here and have some questions...

1. If i purchase the 2.5 version now, Is it possible to upgrade to Lumion 3.0 PRO at later time?
2. How can I make the clouds moving in viewport and in animations?
3. Is there a chance to show a Boat moving with pretty waves on front and back?
thank you all!
Mark

Hi Mark, yes, if you buy Lumion 2.5 now, you get Lumion 3.0 for free as soon as it's released. You can pay to upgrade from Lumion 3.0 to Lumion Pro 3.0 at a later time.

2. How can I make the clouds moving in viewport and in animations?

You can only get clouds to move automatically in the Movie section. However, if you just want to adjust the cloud positions in Build mode, you can increase the Wind Strength slider in the Weather section. As long as you hold down the mousebutton on that slider, the clouds will move (only in preview quality - until you release the mousebutton, that is).

3. Is there a chance to show a Boat moving with pretty waves on front and back?

There's no built-in functionality for wakes, but you could try to add some fountain particle effects I guess :)

The boat is stationary...everything else is moving...I set the waves and wind and turbidity to the highest level.....I hand moved the camera up and down to the rythm of the waves....I compressed the video until the rythm was close to real...I used hand held camera, the bleach effect. I paned the camera slightly/slowly so the horizen would move.

The water objects were added to the bow...stern...and a long jet out the back....each must be ajusted using available properties for size shape length...target etc, etc.

Hello again, Mark - the advanced search function is perfect for these sorts of questions:
http://lumion3d.com/forum/search/?advanced

Here's what I get if I search for 'animate clouds':
