I would say there is never a direct print of image, therefore any resizing could be done in Photoshop etc. Â I know that the only time i print without any post effects is to a forum like this, and for prelim review. Â We add logos, vinetting, effects, etc. Â I think in lieu of makeing too many options and overcomplicating the interface, it is easier to crop an image to the aspect you desire outside of Lumion.
Think of it like taking a photograph; most photographers shoot with a wider angle lens and crop to the subject due to the best portion of the image being located in the center of the lens. Â The resolutions are high enough on Lumion to get away with cropping here and there, and since it renders an image in no time you can adjust a view on the fly without too much of time lossage.
If you don't have Photoshop or other high end editing software, you can utilize open source software call Gimp. Â It is a very high end photo editing software that can help you get pro results with filters, masks, and all editing abilities of software that costs thousands. Â Link is http://www.gimp.org/
The output from Lumion should be looked as raw footage, like a proof in photographic terms, not end product (although most images look good on their own.)
