Hey everybody!
Got a bad problem. I need to activate an Edu Pro license, but my customer area (as told in the proper guide) doesn't show! So I cannot insert my activation code. May someone help me to find a solution please?

I don't think the old customer area exists anymore. But you can register licenses now under

Profile->Account Settings

or click below

As per Jared's post.

Just to clarify, entering the license to the forum is not an activation of the license.  That happens when Lumion is installed and run. 

It does, however register your license with the forum so that your membership is identified as being a licensed user.  Unfortunately, Edu Pro users only get access to the Guest section, I have asked the office about this recently, but no changes as yet.  But as a licensed user, we aim for faster, higher priority support as is possible on the day. 

Due to the upgrade of the forum, icons for new users is still being sorted out (AFAIK).

Now that the new forum is up and going, we need to do some update work to revise some support topics.

As I am a new user, I'd have one more question, and it's about the license name screened on setting section in running Lumion. In fact, after activation, using the code Lumion staff gave me, it still shows "Lumion free". And more: in the example scenes (inside objects section e.g.) some items are shown as dedicated to PRO or Limited. Is it normal for Edu Pro License? As I thought Edu Pro License had the same possibilities then PRO License but the commercial use. Was it correct? If it is, what's wrong with my dear Lumion 2.5 ?

What version did you download and install?

You mention Lumion 2.5, but the current version for Lumion would be v4.0.4 for Edu Pro.

It might help to also send me the license details email to check with our office, the email is usually "Getting Started With Lumion".  Please email me peterm [at] act-3d.com.
