Hello VanWert Design,
I was also experiencing this problem, all I did was to exit from "Coherent Mode" in parallels, by clicking on the Parallels icon on the task bar of the Mac OSX in the top of the screen, then click on "View", and finally "Exit Coherence"
After doing this you can just look for the Task Manager Application in WINDOWS
look for any Lumion Activity and close all of them.
You should be able to open Lumion without any problem now.
An easier way of doing this is to just simply look for the "Task Manager" app of Windows in the Spotlight Search in Mac OSX (while in coherence) and also End/Close any Lumion Activity
