Here are 3 concepts for a project in Twin Falls, Idaho. The main elements include driveway (and future shop), patio, pool, outdoor kitchen, hot tub, play house, trampoline, putting green and much, much more!

I apologize for the length of the video - but is is a large site (for a residence) and includes 3 different concepts.

The residence was created by the architect in ArchiCAD and exported to SketchUp. - it took around 2 days to design and create the 3 concepts in SketchUp, than a day to add textures and create the camera paths in Lumion 5.7. Each scene took my computer 15 min to an hour and a half

The Home owner was looking for a french Modern feeling. Let me know which concept you like the best! - I like concept 3, as its' a little more artsy that the other ones :)

Computer specs are:
Windows 8.1 Pro
Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @3.40 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti

Thanks and I hope everyone have a very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year!!!!!

Hi Chuck

Thanks for the posts, and best wishes also.  :)

There are some differences I see, did you have the effect settings the same in the two versions or do any adjusts in v6?

If possible, could we get a copy of the exported scenes from L5 and L6.  Thanks in advance.  Upload instructions.

Peter,

the files are on their way.

I really didn't do anything different to the images - I just opened it in L6, added the wet asphalt to the drive, then played with a couple of the shadow sliders.  I just wanted to see what the difference would be without playing a lot.

I really love the additional detail to the dining table and the metal art work on image 3-8-L6 vs L5.  I can't way to play more :)

Thanks Lumion!!

Thanks Chuck, wow that was fast  :).

It was the shadow details, so I will just have a little play with the settings just to compare.  Appreciate the files being sent.

Update:
I set Shadows to OutdoorHyperLight 2 is much brighter than v1 (known change), and is much more detailed and fine tuned, so it was reducing the darkness of the shadows.  I reduced the slider to 15 percent and all is looking (extra) good.  :)

Hope you don't mind as I thought I had better make sure there was no issue.  And, I know you had just done a quick open and render in v6 just to see what things looked like, so I was just being nosey  :-D.
