Special thanks to the Lumion staff for such a wonderful honor. I'm truly amazed by this product and can't wait to be more involved in the growing Lumion community. Thanks to everyone for their kind words and inspiration.

Garrett congratulations!!   :)
I really liked your video. You got to give tones and lighting that are very similar to reality. I have some questions to ask yourself, do not know if you mind sharing some details of the video, like how you've customized the fire to make it as real, with the free version I've tried from the 3 fires sample there, but I have not at all acceptable. But it was because the minute 2:10 is fire behind the cables behind the gateway and a bulb also say it is a texture with alpha channel video, but we know that you can not right now Lumion.
Yesterday I was looking for you in Google to congratulate you, but I haven´t found any website of CG or 3D image reel, you have something I can see, I really would.
Once again, congratulations, enjoy the prize. And I hope you join the forum and give us more examples of your talent with the Ultimate 2.
Greetings.

Thanks Nicolas! Likewise, congratulations on your entry. Really terrific work. Since I was using the free version, I'm assuming that I didn't have full access to the fire effects and therefore added it in post. Surprisingly, I did very little post work. Lumion was capable of rendering out superb shots without the need of extreme post work. The only adjustments done outside of Lumion were some color shifts, fire, and slight chromatic aberration.

I'm finishing up a website as we speak and should have it up and running in the next couple of weeks. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks Albert. I switched back and forth between two systems while making this project. One system had a really old video card (Radeon 4000 series) while the other had a Radeon HD 6950. Render times for the HD6950 varied between 2-4 sec. per frame (3-star 1280x720). The Radeon4000 took around 22 sec. per frame. Keep in mind that the final render quality is the same regardless of the video card. However, the HD6950 certainly sped things up and kept the scene looking pretty in real time.
