I've been swamped at my new firm so i havent been able to do much beyond FAST renderings for several projects, but we are very busy, so that is better than the alternative ;)

Here are a few images i wanted to share a few interesting projects in Pittsburgh, Rhode Island, Baltimore, etc. Many are what i would call "down and dirty" get'em out renderings so i took as many shortcuts as possible. But i like the effects and ability Lumion gave me to do this. Lumion is the BOMB!

Critiques, comments and well deserved personal insults are all welcome. :)

Really nice stuff.  I like the last image, has a max feel to it.  Glad your new opportunity is working out.  Was great working together, was a shame it did not work out for us.  Was a good team.  Congrats, keep up the good work!

Thanks B!

Everything always works out for the better. we all had a good experience working together and pushing the envelope of what the company did to produce, visualize and market to capture new work. How many people did we see leave that place over the last couple years??

Anyway, What a blessing that everyone gone is doing so well. No hard feelings, of course. it's a good thing to move onward and upward. I hope the best for everyone.

We all need to get together soon and catch up. i look forward to potentially working together with your firm too. You guys really are a model firm. A damn machine!!! That place knows how to keep repeat clients and make some jack. i'm sure they are ecstatic with your design, pm and viz work.

Bob, when SU 8 M2 came out late 2011, they revamped the collada exporter and now it does not cause any issues when reloading models in Lumion. If you do not gave the latest SU release, I suggest to install it (even if it is only the free version if you have an earlier Pro). Although FBX from Pro works just as well so if you do not have problems with it, you can use it.

Thanks G. i'm on the newest Pro version, but i thought i still ran into some trouble OR maybe i just like the way FBX exports uses material names instead of numbering system like collada did.

if i remember correctly, i think the dae files exported much faster than fbx though so i'll really should give it a try again and make sure i can reload changed models without any hiccups.
