Hello,
It had been a long time since I had left of messages ............. it is that I did not have the opportunity of used Lumion lately. At first, I have to say that were made to me some critics not always pleasant on behalf of my customers.
The first one concerns the animations: we made me the remark that the 3D characters made far too much ....................................... Sims! As a result, I do not use any more these 3D characters!
Second, that the depictions was not rather realistic.
Thus, yesterday I made images of a small project of house without big interest and as I wanted to obtain a photorealistic effect, I simply corrected these images in Photshop with the option " correction of the automatic levels ". There, I have to say that that produces very well!
It is a pity we cannot have this result directly in Lumion and especially for the animations ...............
Do you work top? I think that it is what is the most urgent so that Lumion becomes the major software of renders and animations! ..........

Here are the images below, before and after modification in Photoshop.

We are aware of the quality of the 3D people and the animations (this has been mentioned numerous times in the forum).

Have you tried playing with the Color Grading, Color Correction, Shadow Brightness and Exposure effects in the Movie editor?

That being said, there is always room for improvement, and I'd be surprised if Remko didn't make more tonemapping types in the future.

I can not explain why but the before pictures look more real to me then the after pictures.
The adjusted pictures look a bit oversaturated to me, like the vivid tonemapping setting in Lumion.
Maybe you can try that setting to directly get the result you want.

Another problem is that people's monitors are different, so on some screens images might look undersaturated and on others they'd look oversaturated and too contrasty.

At the end of the day, a happy client is a good client, even if that means more saturated images :)

Detail modeling... accurate texturing...better mapping of materials....realistic arrangement of the objects..more attention to the overall compositon....: all  of these things are required for a realistic image. Once you have all those things, import your model into Lumion and it will not let you down.
