Should Lumion be used only for architectural projects?

I'm the one who thinks it is not like that. Lumio is a render engine.
In order to prove this, I will work from different sectors. My first job is a studio lighting. Prepare this scene, except 3d modeling, only 2 hours.

If I tried to do this with programs such as vray, 3ds max, cinema 4d, I would probably be very tired these days. I was going to postpone the shuttle to the next day. Render operation would be a separate problem.

So the result is that, whether you want it or not, the rules of this game are changing.
