I re-render my video using Lumion2.
I want to share ... I have included rain, light and movement of the boat.
I saw that there are problems with 24/30 fps :(

EDIT.....09/01/2012-15:21h...THE DAY AFTER - SNOW

Yes, sorry about that. This bug has been fixed in the upcoming Build 3.

Very beautiful...

I hope renders like this will eventually replace the "Architectural Visualization" at the splash screen with "Realtime Renderer".

Here here!!!!!  When ever this comes up I keeping thinking the guys at Lumion are thinking too narrowly, and not helping promote their product to maximum capacity audience!!  Of course it is a great renderer for Architectural Visualization, but it has the capability to be much more.

Lumion  team,

I suggest you think more broadly about your product's future, develop the strategy, and remove the reference to "Architectural Visualization".

For it is much more - and has a great capacity for Previsualization, but also real applications in film, and television.

Respectfully, and with regards,

blendman.

I am sure that they know they have created a monster, but they are being cautious. They have to make this step forward in a short time, otherwise someone else will!

We are well aware of that, but if we started promoting Lumion as much more than a tool for architectural/urban planning/product visualisations - without offering a feature set that could actually support those secondary market segments, we'd have a lot of disappointed new customers :)

For example, marketing Lumion as the tool of choice for Machinima enthusiasts would never work without vertex/bone animation import (and support for Poser/DAZ Studio etc).

does Lumion have any camera controls/setting like sketchups  'advanced cameras tools' which are very useful for someone like myself, who designs sets for TV.....?

No, unfortunately not. Cameras can't tilt/roll and you can't adjust the aspect ratio (or the frame rate of exported movies). There's also no Safe Zone indicator.

It could be a plug-in TV or film
EDIT: I'd pay for more plu-in for more options film processed in several video cards.
