hi all

new home we have under construction.

hp elite, nvidea 660 gtx ti.

rendering took about 60 hours, got one of the clips to 145 million 3d points, screen started flashing white, i thought it was going to crash, but rendered correctly.

hope you enjoy.

cheers shaun

Speed! Its a +1 from me. This is quality rendering, high level of detail, comfortable camera pace.
I have enjoyed it all.

Thanks.

this is very nice and fun to watch.

only crit, as i usually say nowdays, is i think it would be better off without the people. i dont feel like you need them for scale or anything else because of the project type and they tend to distract too much.

hi Robert

thanks a lot for watching and opinion, i agree here with you, the only problem i have, not sure if you pick it up at all is that the client sais "where are the people"

YESs, always have the same issue. I would rather see good looking billboard people in a view that might move very slowly to show a space with people without the need to really show them moving.

I am going to try to have nice animation clips that move along with no people, then maybe slow down in a room or space that shows billboard people with a very slight pan or zoom as the only animation.

that way the people wil not be turning to the camera and it may look more natural.

hi bob

look forward to seeing what you do with the billboard people, will keep a look out. the only problem i have with what you are saying is that while a lot of people on the forum are getting the movies to look quite realistic, they do not look real. i am not sure what look worse, a nearly realistic movie with lumion people, or real looking people with a not quite realistic movie. from far it can be faked and work, but up close i think the one is as bad as the other.

I hear you on that. I hope to work up an example soon and see if it works well. Basically, it will be like adding as realistic of a still rendering as possible to the animation sequence, with just a little bit of movement on it.
