These places are always difficult to populate but you have managed to pull it off. You bug me with your flat road textures....throw a little dirt around will ya....lol.

about the people:
i found a crowd of 2d people, i think this one,
https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model.html?id=410d6bf9c34e0045fe8e9be5d9f2cbd1

then found a VERY helpful script to arrange them into a grid for easier distribution,
sketchucation, TIG [Plugin] Components to Grid

the people will not do for animation so i will have to revisit this issue. worked great for a few still shots though.

about the road:
haha. yes, i agree. never enoght time for the little things. In the past i would just add some grunge and wear in photoshop, especially to roads. Nowadays, im lucky i have time to open it in photoshop for adjustments ;)

i would love to be able to add some PNG overlays of cracks and dirt the way good ole Nic did. Better yet, would be GREAT to have stuff like that in LUMION. Something similar to the rocks and flowers that you can randomly add to terrain would be awesome to break up regular materials.
i would put a different texture in if there wasn't such a large view. i would rather see a clean uninterrupted surface than any sort of tiling.

anyway, thanks for the comments. i literally had a few days to do this but may get some time to animate soon.
