I just completed this school project. It is a charter school that is being built in a, no longer existing, K Mart retail space. It is located in North Carolina. This one has a lot of moving people and a lot of interior lighting. So I had to have a lot of the lights on accuracy mode. With global illumination turned render time was 9 hours. I was going to have reflections turned on but even with one reflection the render time jumped up to about 60 hours. I think it is fine without the reflections. Maybe time to upgrade my gtx 980?  ;)

The architect provided a revit model. I cleaned it up and finished preparing in Sketchup.

The only setting in movie mode that I had on was global illumination. I wanted to use reflective surfaces too but that was slowing my rendering time down to about 60 hours even with one reflection. I also had a lot of mass movement paths laid out for the people walking. Five different mass moves in total. Also used advance move to open the doors. Otherwise that was it. Kept it simple.
