Lumion - SketchFab Mashup 1

I have been recently experimenting with a variety of types of models found on the SketchFab website (, and have been having a little fun in my spare time putting several users models from that site, together into some fictional scenes.
While some models are rougher than others, overall I am really happy with the way several of these photographically modeled and digitally scanned models come through in Lumion Scenes.   Looking at possibly investing in Agisoft software to create my own models with.
So here is my first attempt at a "Lumion/SketchFab Mashup Animation".
Please enjoy.

Excellent EVarvel, yet it opens new perspectives.
The visit of the vault from 1:45 is really impressive and walking up the steps to.
I would like to know if these SketchFab items are not too heavy in Lumion.

Thanks Francan!
And in answer to the meshes being too heavy, well that depends on the model and how it was created.  But in general, the really detailed heavily scanned items (like a long dry creekbed, cave systems, etc.) can be too heavy for Lumion to even import.

But I did successfully take a 2 mile long cavern scan model that would crash lumion when trying to import it, and through 3D Max was able to use Pro-Optimize on the mesh and reduce to a managable level to bring into Lumion and not lose much.

In general it would be great for using Agisoft PhotoScan software to create photorealistic objects needed for particular projects that may require a certain detailed existing object to be in the scene and it should be manageable enough for Lumion.

See my next posts animation "-SketchFab Mashup 2- Search for Sméagol-" with the 2 Mile Cavern model ending the animated tale.  Pretty cool to be able to bring that cavern system into Lumion.
