And in answer to the meshes being too heavy, well that depends on the model and how it was created. But in general, the really detailed heavily scanned items (like a long dry creekbed, cave systems, etc.) can be too heavy for Lumion to even import.
But I did successfully take a 2 mile long cavern scan model that would crash lumion when trying to import it, and through 3D Max was able to use Pro-Optimize on the mesh and reduce to a managable level to bring into Lumion and not lose much.
In general it would be great for using Agisoft PhotoScan software to create photorealistic objects needed for particular projects that may require a certain detailed existing object to be in the scene and it should be manageable enough for Lumion.
