Probably the first LEGO in Lumion!
You can vote for Torpedo wagon on LEGO Ideas
https://ideas.lego.com/projects/86086 or use the link at youtube

Watch the short Lumion movie:

About the project:
A torpedo wagon is used to transport hot liquid iron.
The model was made in LEGO Digital Designer (download from the LEGO page) then converted by a JAVA script to .obj and imported in 3D MAX design v2012. There it was Re-materialized and scaled 3800% to meet the real world of Lumion. Then exported as .fbx, imported in Lumion, Re-materialized, build a scene  and render.
The 2,5 minute HD film rendered by Lumion Pro 4.5 in only 3 hours on a laptop with an Nvidia Geforce 2Gb graphics card.

There is also a long version of the movie with explanation and renders in POV-Ray, Mentalray and Lumion.
video edit was done in Adobe Premiere

First one that I have seen. That was really great fun to watch. LEGO looks cool at that scale...3800% smaller than us?. Didn't realize we were that big. :-D

hi Lego scale is 1:38, if you don't scale back in MAX 3800%, the LEGO model comes into Lumion as a toy...
...don't forget to vote, you have to subscribe but it is worth the fun!
