I've just completed these interior renders for a local property developer. I actually modelled the whole apartment in Sketchup which ended up being 570 Mb, so it's rather slow to load, but I'm very happy with the final result.

Modelling software: Sketchup Pro.
Computer: CPU i7 - 4790 3.6 GHz,16 GB RAM.
Graphics: Gigabyte GTX 980 Ti, 6 GB.

Thanks for sharing Derek.

Was that 570MB for the SketchUp file or for the Lumion Imported Model?

Time for a super fast SSD?

Hi Peter, 570 Mb is the size of the Sketchup model. There's lots of detail in every room. The model also has a bedroom, cinema, office and bathroom - plus externals. It takes about one and half minutes to load.

OK, thanks Derek.  That's a big file for SketchUp  :o, so clearly a lot of detail and high detail modelling  :).

Interestingly, I got the background houses from Google Street view. I took screenshots, then cut them out in Photoshop, blurred them a little and added some shadows in Lumion.
