I love SketchUp & Lumion  ( Easier and faster programs )

Beautiful compare
In 1994   ---  I had computer 386 DX40 with 250 M hard & 2 M Ram
We worked on Ms-DOS operating & window 3.1 under dos at that time
I worked with software 3d studio 4 before 3d studio max  and worked in center of Baghdad by this video
I hope to express an opinion  between the two periods for the same place & topic

Hi Kais,

This is brilliant! Did you model all the buildings? Great, great work indeed.

If you use youtube, playback will be smooth. Vimeo freezes alot as their is no option to
play back at low resolution.

It is very impressive... I am still amazed at the massive models coming along in Lumion and movies that could just not be done so efficiently anywhere else. I always hate to critisize because I am so pleased with the results we can get.

.....but I am hoping that the Lumion team will concentrate on vehicles and people soon.
We don't really have any that work in the context of motion....we have starting a new trend....land of the "flash frozen" people.....friends of the "stand still" walkers and invisible tread mill team.

Just kidding a bit lumion team, I know you have been treased enough. ....so forgive me. :-D

Thanks again Kais. How many people were involved in building the model? How long did modelling take? How long did rendering take?
This presentation gives a very good impression of what one can achieve with lumion. Lumion team deserves a pat on the back for making architectural visualization a reality.
