Hi,

only test of high polygonal trees, 360.000 faces per one. plus simple Photoshop post-production.

no translucency, only emissiveness = 1.0
and trunk have only diffuse (and ugly) texture, for now.

Please don't take this the wrong way but for 360K polygons these trees are not the best example of high polygon foliage.

Also keep in mind that untill Lumion supports a double-sided material (in the material editor) with billboard function, normalmap, transparency and transmission/translucency, investing in high-poly foliage isn't the smartest thing to go for unless you don't mind your rendertimes going through the roof with no visual quality bonus whatsoever.

It's a fun excersise though and when I experimented with it I was suprised Lumion can easily handle a lot of these.

 

Btw, what package did you use? Onyx?
