Was a bit tricky to get the "pod" to fly, then remain in the same place across film sequences, resorted to pod going out of camera shot, to be replaced by a second pod which is much more lavishly furnished with Lumion planting, hence allowing camera to fly right into it.

The last section of this film has just been shown on UK TV "The Wright Stuff", in an interview with the garden designer Diarmuid Gavin.

Slick!

Just saw some pictures online a couple of days earlier of the POD being constructed before the show.
So I got a before Lumion (real photos) and an after Lumion (your video).   Nice modeling!

Congrats on the publicity! :)

You should post a Youtube link of that too.

Thanks Conrad, wish it was slicker, the clouds jump and you can see the two different versions of the pod, one with lots of planting , and one with very little. Using 2 pods was the only way I could get a smooth camera motion, with pod moving then stopping.
Just heard this garden has just been voted best in show by public.

I did not really notice those things as a quick passer-by-er.  Until you pointed them out.  :)

Was this video used as part of the competition entry package?
Who are the landscape designers?  Very cool idea for the POD...hope nobody falls out. ha
Beautiful watercolors and masterful drawings on your website! Appreciate the talent.

Garden designed by Diarmuid Gavin, garden commissioned by the Royal Horticultural Society, paid for by Cork City Council. In this case there was no design competition.  Pod ended up with railings and safety belts. Thanks for comments about watercolours, they are fun to do, but its nice to have a change and do some Lumion movies.
