Hi PM 3D Animation, don't worry - you have not caused any problems. :)

(An unlicensed user wanted technical support but did not register a License Key, so his question was moved to the section for quarantined posts)

I translated the PDF into English as I don't understand french that well (It should have been my third language, but I forgot most of the little I knew..) If it's fine with PM 3D Animation it can be shared so others can also read the English version :)

So far it seem upping from 11 to 111GB of page-file solved my crashing :) now when it reaches 98% ir just bounce back to 50% as it offloads to SSD.
Though, the video shows an animation going from 0 to 100 for instance - where frame 0 is empty.. I have a looping animation, so I need frame 0 to be a frame - how can I go about that? would I need to change the script to be able to have frame 0 intact?

When I get to chapter 6 and use the script and click 'Transfer Animation' I get a completely empty key-list. no red dots or lines - when I then press 'delete all existing keys' then the 4 keyframes I made in Chapter 5 is also deleted. What do I do wrong?

peterm: Another thingie - Materials.. I cant load materials into the animated version since each keyframe has a (33) etc. behind it - thus wont transfer... is there a way around that? I dont want 100 similar mats to get renamed to 'matname'(xxx) since it 1: breaks the load material function and 2: it will take loads of resources to load the materials 100 times :) any way around it?

edit: I pulled the trigger too fast - I see there is already a thread on that :) I will go back to 7.5 in order to import and make materials :) though sadly the already applied materials are done in new version, and it was a LOAD of work setting that all up :D oh well :) tell me if there is a workaround to not having 100s of materials names in 9.5 :)

Hi camaxide

No, sorry.  But if using 3ds Max and exporting to FBX there that known problem.

Presume its this topic you found:
This is a known problem in Lumion 8.3 and newer versions. The reason is that our developers upgraded to the latest version of Autodesk's FBX software development kit but unfortunately there is an error in that version. Hopefully, Autodesk will fix it soon.

Workaround: You'd have to install Lumion 8.0, import the animated model, save it to an .LS8 Scene file and merge it into your .LS9 Scene. Let us know if you need the Download Manager for Lumion 8.0.

I sent them also a post on their site a few days ago, perhaps they have holidays.
Like I suspected the first frame of the animation is missing, so when I render out there is noone there in the first frame - and every 3,5 seconds there is a missing frame when the animation loops. seem the script / fix was mostly done with a single animation in mind (not looping) - I tried making animation start from frame 1 in 3ds, but it makes no difference on the export.. strange.
