Hi guys,

I thought I’d share this design, intended for a professional couple, whose kids are now grown up, and their love of gardening.  The design represents about 3 weeks work, and apart from the missing faces issue (discussed in another part of this forum), the process was reasonably straightforward.  I spend a good period of time on lighting, and still have a lot to learn here.
Regrettably, I had major problems with rendering the interior lighting of the villa towards the end.  Lumion would not recognize the warm coloured lights (“yellowish”) and only the cool colours!  - very strange indeed!!, even doing a photo rendered shot(s).

I ended up using Camstudio to make the final interior scene – no choice but to copy the image from Lumion real-time from the screen.  I intend to post this ‘bug’ problem separately very soon.

Enjoy!

Regards,

Thanks for sharing.

An architectural professor would ask you, "What do the circle holes in the horizontal lattice mean?"
Channeling Scarpa?

Thanks CRhoades!  When I was an Architectural student in Australia, I always enjoyed sculptural elements, usually SE Asian influences, in timber lattice work.  Something nice about framing a plant, or tree....in this case just having fun with timber design.

Hey, thanks for the C.  Scarpa link too!  nice!  :)

Best regards,

Good stuff, I'd be grateful if you could upload the scene in the Bugs and Issues section, so we can take a look.
