Hi, Greetings from Ireland,,,

Spent the last two nights messing about with your demo of Lumion3D. I've been waiting 10 years for this realtime technology to catch up after I use to do a similar thing with Halflife 1 and Worldcraft back in 2001! Anyway, things have improved since then and lumion is a great tool and I'm looking forward to seeing it evolve. I can hopefully justify a licence when i get some examples put together to show clients.

This project was draw in Autocad, modelled and textured in Sketchup (from Autocad dwgs) and export to Lumion3D in Collada .dae.

Here Goes:

Thanks For looking.
Carter.

Indeed. I like it. add some more small gras to the ground and of course a large grill for barbeque. ;)

Very nice work. That gardenfence should go into the lumion library  :D
I like the strong contrast but perhaps the scene is a bit too saturated?
On my monitor the boy has almost purple hair. Could be a nice touch if he's supposed to be a teenager  :-D
Not sure if you intentionally opted for the default Maple Speedtrees but considering these are amongst the lowest-poly trees in the catalogue, choosing a more detailed tree would lift the overall quality of your scene as well. All in all an excellent start!

Hi, thanks for your comments.
Aaron, i'm just messing with the 'demo' version so unfortunatly limited models to pick from, only 2 trees available and i used them both in this scene, same goes for the people!!
Regarding the colour, i do seem to have issues with colour and its about time i looked at calibrating my monitor and colour settings! yes, the boy has purple hair on my screen  8) ,, i didn't realise that was wrong  :-D
The fence is just a texture for the wood (taken from Dosch ConstructionXT disc) and rectangular concrete posts.
Michael Betke - I'd love to add some more grass,,,,,, unfortunatly I can't save so would have to to it all again   ::)

Oh boy...he DOES have purple hair. Foolish me. Don't buy a new pc yet!  :-D
Also didn't realize you were on the demo (perhaps the topictitle as well as the watermark on the images should have been a clue but unfortunately it seems I need stronger clues) Thats too bad. Guess there's only one way to remedy that  ;)
