Pete,

Really love the model, looks like a great place to be.  Only have four comments on things i would look to improve.

1.) Get rid of the constant path, and break the scene into smaller clips with transition.
2.) Slow down the camera, about 1/4 of the speed would really set the scene.
3.) Make sure your cloud color and sky color is set a little darker, the default is way too bright for reality.
4.) I would turn down the fog, just a bit so not to overpower the scene.

Overall i really think the model is fantastic, a little more storyboarding and camera work will make it sing a song...even without any sound   Keep up the good work!

Cheers on the advice, I never really compiled much animation, normally I model, texture and render them with Vue and a third party compiles for the client. The story board makes sense.

I am in the same boat, always have done still renders using all sorts of Sketchup Plugins and standalone softwares.  The ease of making movies has changed how i have been presenting, and now i find myself doing different things like movies.  Completely different art form that i am just scratching the surface on.  I saw your online portfolio, very impressive...and from what i can see you are coming on strong with Lumion!  Congrats again!

Looking forward to next update, playing with Lumion is fun, hopefully I can get more experianced with both the creation and the editing in order to get something decent together as a showcase, maybe even use lumion in production. I use Vue currently for animation exteriors and Thea for interiors, but they are both costly for client (however the quality is awesome), so hopefully I can offer a cheaper alternative in future.

I have recently purchased Vue 9 infinite and City Engine Vue.  Do you use either program for texturing or model creation?  I loved your streets and realistic detail on your buildings.  Were the buildings purchased or home- made?  The pools of water on the streets and the poles with wiring were nice touches.
