You kidding!!? This was brilliant!!

I found myself reaching for the popcorn, truly rivetting stuff, the music and sounds were also brilliantly done.

What was also amazing is all the different environments, you covered from sky to sea bed, from Mykonos to Maldives.

Again excellent stuff.

Oh, the Mykonos village, is that from Cornucopia?

Yes exactly, that's what I also mean. Maybe it could be done by simply elevating the Lumion terrain in patches over the road but that should be causing serious Z-fighting here...

 :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
I am astonished!!!!!!!!!
Far beyond the Lumion capabilities of the average user.
Brilliant use off materials and functions (fountains as rain ,thunders, desert storm etc)
DIVINE lighting
Amazing materials (bump , reflections , motion etc)
Brilliant camera movement and scenography
Excellent and original geometry
I think this video is the best promotion for Lumion’s capabilities.
Can somebody explain me why is not by far the winner of the contest??????

I've watched it four times already, if I did not have Lumion this video would have me reaching for my credit card. Definately shows the capabilities of Lumion version 1, I'm wondering what can be done with Version 2  :o

I was wondering that too

It's a REALLY good video and there were a lot of votes to make it the winner but there were too many glitches to make it no 1. It's possible that you can't see them on Youtube but in the source video it was very noticable. Probably if he removed some of the weaker scenes and used the extra time to render it with AA there would have been a good chance it would made the top 3 at least.

The scenes and the filming was done really well. I think it was the best entry from a pure filmic perspective but wasn't the best showcase of Lumion. As a movie it was really good but it had too many glitches to be a good showcase.

There were so many good entries. If you look at the honorable mentions there are many movies that could easily make it to the top 3. It's a tough decision. Everyone has his own view on things and some people focus on one point and other people focus on other points so what's best is also a matter of opinion. In the end we chose winners that combined overall quality, style, made impact and displayed skill.

Some of the honorable mentions are missing by the way :( I Think it's a bug in the gallery software and we are working on it.

Check out this one for example:
