Hi,

This is our latest finished project.
It is a residential building in Calais, France.

This was made with Lumion 9, about 2 weeks making the scene and 1 week for rendering.
PC system:

Intel i9-7900X @ 3.30 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

The video is best to be watched with sound;

What are your thoughts about it?

Thanks,
Anastasios

Hi Anastasios,

Delightfull animation. Story, camera movements and textures are really awesome. Nice work.

I would like to ask you that, how did you get reflection on black sculpture. Object is really rounded but reflection is perfect? Is it only speed ray? I guess texturing for that part is special, i mean preparing like pre refleciton (:

Thanks for sharing! Nicely Done.

That's mostly Projected Reflections (the least accurate type) but possibly with some SpeedRay Reflections mixed in.

There's more information in these articles:

Thank you, as mentioned by Morten, I've used Projected Reflections and put the Reflection Control in the interior.
I've also turned the glossiness to 90%, and did a small 'Stone Weathering' as well to re-create an imperfection on the Neck area of the sculpture.

In the rendering I've used SpeedRay Reflections.

Love the feel you have produced with this Anastasios, great job!

Was there any post processing on the clips from Lumion or was this straight from your effect stack? We are trying to produce some imagery and animations with similar looks but can't quite find the right settings just yet!
