My daughter, Amber, is a first year student in a school called DAE, stands for Digital Arts and Entertainment.
"DAE is a three-year full-time Bachelor degree programm designed by and developed for creative, ambitious, passionate and exceptional individuals, ready to push the limits of tomorrow’s interactive or pre-rendered 3D."
She is doing the course GGP or Game Graphics Production.
One of the final assignments was modelling a car in 3DS max, and this from scratch. Just 4 2D views from a model she found in 3D Warehouse. A Mercedes 190 SL, W121. After rendering the model in 3DS max, she inserted the model into a Lumionscene from the Barcelona Pavilion from Mies Van der Rohe.
She made a couple of stills and played around with materials.
The images are the wireframemodel, claymodel, a couple of finished renders for her exams and a couple of stills in Lumion.
I am proud with the results she achieved. Hoping for a good rating from her teachers.
