Hello,

The 3D model of the urban area was built
With city engine software with more 24.000 buildings
The project's tower and a few buildings were imported
from Sketchup
I used final cut for the edit video

The special effect, travelling, vegetation
Lighting : I used Lumion and It took maybe
1 day

It took 3 days from the begining to the
export video

Hi Opigez,

Great work & thanks for sharing. I have got one comment though. The city looks like it has
just survived a grey ash volcanic eruption & not fog, was this kind of intentional? I have faced a similar problem before, I find that the more I try to increase the fog, the more my buildings turn to grey ash. The one way I found that works well is to use the smoke effect under the special effect
plugins.

Regards,

Alickn

excellent!
Si tu peux me filler quelques infos, je suis preneurs!
en tout cas, très bon travail, le rendu est vraiment bon! ;)

I also like it very much and I hope you get happy clients for all your projects:)

However the small letters of "Not for commercial use" are showing slightly behind your logo on your movie on YouTube, and I see you have 5 videos made.

I hope your company http://www.iau-idf.fr/index.php?home are happy with your projects that has your name in the credits, and  if you allready make business with Lumion software, that we can expect a purchase soon if you didnt buy it yet:)

Thanks and hope to see more from you soon.

Very subtle Truls ;)  Really nice work, love the lumion projects based in a busy city..shows the power of the software when you see stats like 5 secs a frame.

hi, really good job!
I've download and try (a little) EngineCity, but don't understand everything...
Just one question : Can you generate a 3d model only with a aopenstreetmap or google earth picture? or is it only on my dreams?

Thank you Alickn,
I know what do you mean.
I actually used the animate fog to hid the background of my scene.
The extend of my area buildings is not so big ... maybe that it's too dense.

Hello Truls and thanks you for your message.
For your question, my Establishment bought the software.
We are a public research center working on issues of planning.
Our license is a Education's license (our status as an Association and we don't do business with 3D...
However, I do a lot of advertising on this "magical software" in all my speeches on the subject
That an Incredible Software ! :-)
