1) After the Babylon Project http://forum.lumion3d.com/gallery-best-works/babylon-project/ I was planning to transfer my Byzantium model to Lumion but could not find the time for it. I started doing it this month and although I expected Lumion to handle such a huge model I was still surprised to see how easily it handles it. The higher views are rendered in 1.8 secs in full quality. The model with the terrain measures more than 10 km x 10 km. The city is divided into 11 parts and I load only the parts in view. I loaded up to 6 parts until now but will try all 11 soon.

2) Software: 3ds Max, Lumion 4.5.1
3) Preparing each part takes less than an hour but I am making lot of changes and lots of imports
4) Aerial views 1.8 secs, closer views up to 7 secs, GTX Titan

Nice work with such a huge model.  Its amazing how Lumion can handle such a high polygon count with ease.  Granted, the GTX Titan helps, but its still incredible.
