Hi everyone!

TEN OVER MEDIA created a marketing film, TV spots and images for the pre-opening marketing campaign of River Run, an upscale mountain resort opening late 2019 in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. There’s about 150 square miles covered in the 3D environment and everything was rendered using Lumion 9 Pro.

This video campaign has just won Best Property Video of the year in the 2019 Muse Creative Awards competition!

Check out the award-winning video campaign (1 short film, 3 TV spots, 5 images) using the following link;

Wow!
This is great Mathieu.
That took a lot of work Im sure.
I love cameras selections, some very cinematic, some feel real (as if I was walking there) and some very marketing focused.

Great work.

Thanks for sharing.

Really amazing work.

Could you speak to why the decision was made to not include any people?

@AUDD-Leo exporting each shots took anywhere between 2 hours up to 18 hours.

@martinch thank you! We have an experienced film and advertising director on staff, which greatly helps with the overall cinematic universe we develop.

@Chuck B. Edwards let's just say the Lumion file is -very- big. We've got great computers and specific workflows that can handle this without any issues though. Our clients are thrilled indeed!

@kevinpfeiffer729 not including people was a common decision with the client and our team. The look and feel of 3D people just does not get to our standards quite yet.

Thanks for the kind words everybody!

Great videos and renderings!!!
what software do you use for modeling and post?
Did you split the project into multiple Lumion files?
how % of the trees, plants, assets came from Lumion library?

Thanks for sharing!!!

@qbic modeling was done using SketchUp Pro. All trees and plants come from the Lumion library on this project.

Wow, very impressive. On a side note, this video is the perfect example of why it should be an option to turn off the default ease in and ease out camera movement in videos. Sometimes you just want a camera moving at a constant speed, and while it's obviously possible to do this using an external video editor and trimming the beginning and end of a clip, it would be better and easier to just have this as an option from within Lumion. I'm amazed this still isn't a feature given all the other bells and whistles that have been added.

Looks amazing, really curious how you achieved such awesome natural light, especially with the close up shots such as the water bottle and bino's!

Great video!

Saw a few vehicles that are floating above the ground (the evoque around 30s and the bus at 34s). Quick question: do the wine glasses on the table (around 48s) have the correct refraction index? The rays from behind it should be bent more to 'reflect' more realism (no pun intended). Some extra water displacements around the kayaks would also add a nice touch. I agree it being without people is a bit weird, but I read this was a client decision which I also understand being that they're just not real enough yet especially when in focus.

If you can see past those small points it's an astonishing scene! Definitely worth the award.
