[Answered] Unable to download lumion after resetting laptop

I had to reset my computer due to virus and I am trying to re install lumion 10 student version from download link received in the email but I am unable to do so. I am redirected to lumion page which shows that license has expired. The link in email was received in November 2019, which is valid until nov 2020.

Also in the lumion account, I see that license key has been disabled.
Can I not download lumion from the same link on the same laptop twice?
Is there a way to receive the link again?

Hi ankitagogne

Your License Key was issued in December 2018.  At that time you received version 9.  In November 2019 when the License Key was still valid you received an upgrade to version 10.  That will be the email you have tried to download Lumon from.

However, your License Key expired after the 365 days in December 2019.

You need to re-apply for a new License Key.  See our Knowledge Base article: What do you do if your Student License Key has expired?

Thank you for writing back.
Referring to your email-
In November 2019 when the License Key was still valid you received an upgrade to version 10.  That will be the email you have tried to download Lumon from.
However, your License Key expired after the 365 days in December 2019.

I received upgrade in November 2019 which should be valid for 365 days, till December 2020 right? Not December 2019?

I am directed to a page which says that link to this has already been sent to you.

Hi ankitagogne

Sorry, but no, that's a misunderstanding.

License Keys are valid for 365 days from the date of issue of the License Key that was issued to you when you applied and were approved.  So that means the License Key for December 2018.

Think of it as a one-year drivers license.  You apply, get the license, and 365 days later need to re-apply.

Any updates or upgrades under the current License Key do not start you off again with another 365 days.

I have done some further searching in SheerID and see that you did re-apply and was approved on 20 January 2020 using a different email ankita*****@gmail.com.

The License Key for V10 has been resent to you at both your Gmail and .edu addresses.  You might need to check in the Promotions tab of Gmail.

Please confirm receipt.

Once you have downloaded it, you will need to uninstall any version of Lumion you might have installed, and also, please don't forget to add this new key to your Lumion Account.
