Filled the form to get Lumion 9 trial version,
Received an email to download it including the license number and activation code,
Able to download and install it, without any issues.
When I open Lumion, the window and logo shows up but saying your trial period has expired.
All the process were done on the same day, if to say it's over 14 days.
So I was wondering why it keeps happening this. Honestly, it is so inconvenient. Willing to buy pro version, that's why I'm really interested in this trial and this error hesitates me to do so.
Best Regards,

Hi Lwin,

I looked up your License Key in our system and I see that the trial is currently in use on LAPTOP-ATA4UP, can you confirm that?

Please also note that there are two Trial versions: a smaller limited Lumion 9.5 Trial version and the full Lumion 9.5 Pro Trial version.

If you'd like to evaluate Lumion in more detail, I'd recommend the latter as the 14-day license period can be extended upon request.

Click on the link below to see how to get the full Trial version:

Yeah, I confirm it's my laptop. After the error, I gave it a second try, removing and uninstall the old one and while downloading the new one, it said 'access denied', ending the process. So, now nothing is on my laptop. Could you plz suggest what I can do next? Thanks

Please follow these instructions to resolve the problem:

Knowledge Base: How do you resolve an 'Access is denied' error when trying to download the Lumion Download Manager?

Let me know how that goes for you.

I followed the instruction and it went okay downloading and installing but when I open it, it still tells me its expired, saying buy full version or quit lumion so I did quit, didn't uninstall but I can't use it. So i guess, it can't be assumed that it's currently in use on my laptop.
plz see the problem thank you

Can you please forward your "Getting started with Lumion" email that includes the License Key that you are currently using to [email protected]?

Thanks in advance.

Please uninstall all versions of Lumion.

Then download and install the Lumion 9.5 Trial version via the Download button in the 'Getting started with Lumion 9.5' email for the Trial version that I just sent you.

Does this resolve the problem?

I did exactly follow your instruction, but after installation and when I opened it, the window appeared and said the trial period has expired. Any help? Thanks

That is weird, sorry that you are having so much trouble with the Trial version. I am not sure why you are getting that error, hopefully, my colleagues will be able to help you when they log on.

In the meantime, I would suggest that you get the Lumion 9.5 Pro Trial by contacting your local reseller.

Please take a look at section 1 of the following article:

Hi Lwin

Sorry to see you are having such problems getting Lumion installed and running.  This is definitely not the usual case.

1. Can you please confirm that as per Serge's instructions earlier, you have uninstalled all versions of Lumion on any PC and laptop you have.

2. Have you previously used a different email address to download the Trial? Perhaps one back in April with the address gra.mar****@gmal.com

Hi again Lwin

I have been able to download, install and run without error or invalid message for one of the Trials you have attempted to use.

I would suggest the following:
1. Make sure all Lumion installs are uninstalled, as previously mentioned.  Note: that you should have always used Windows -> Settings -> Apps to uninstall, and that you did not use Windows Explorer to delete any install files.  Please confirm that is the case.

2. Delete all Getting Started with Lumion emails for the trials.

3. Delete all downloaded install files for the Trials from your system.

4. I will resend the email for the Trial I can run successfully.  This will be via my email address so that it is not directly from Act-3D.  So, sorry but once again you will need to download the files.

Does this now work?

Thank you for your perseverance, and I hope that this time things work as they should do.

Thank you so much for the help.
1. I do confirm that all the instructions were exactly done properly.
2. Never heard of this email address "gra.mar****@gmal.com.
3. It couldn't solve.

I give up and will directly go to the buying option.
But first, I would like to know if there can be any error like this when I buy the full version and IF there's, can I count on this support center for help?

Hi Lwin,

As far as I know, we never had issues like this with the commercial versions of Lumion, since those licenses will never expire.

However,  when there are any problems with a license we try to solve the issue here as soon as possible or we redirect you to our sales staff to resolve any issue with your license.

You could still apply for the Lumion Pro Trial by contacting your local reseller if you want to test Lumion before buying the program.

Absolutely.

Just to reiterate what Floyd has said:
1. This is the first time we have had a situation where so far we have been unable to rectify a problem with the License Key for the (public) Lumion Trial product.

2. I would also highly recommend you get the Lumion Pro Trial first before moving on to the purchased product.  If you do, then uninstall the Lumion Trial first before installing the Lumion Pro Trial.

Please be aware that we also have a very flexible returns policy.

Please let us know how things go.

Hi there, I'm having this exact same issue. I've uninstalled and re-installed multiple times. Sometimes it asks me for the code and sometimes it doesn't but every single time it says the trial period is expired, and asks me to either buy or quit. I'd really like to try the software.. but this has been extremely frustrating. This is just the Lumion 9 Trial edition.. not the pro.
