Danke
Mit freundlichen Grüßen
Ralf

Dear Sir or Madam!

I have problems with OPRM-Lumion, the following:

Lumion very often gets stuck during material allocation. D. H. When I paste or copy a material, it takes between 8 and 25 seconds for the components to adopt the material texture. At the top right, where the file reference is, there is often the addition "no feedback"

Thank you
Sincerely yours
R.

Hi Ralf, I'm sorry to hear that.

The reason is usually that the material file is large and/or that the Documents folder is located on a drive with slow access speeds, e.g. a network drive.

1. Please open the Documents/Lumion 8.0/Library folder. There should be 4 model files for the model you're assigning materials to. What are the sizes of the 4 files?

2. Which drive is the Documents folder located on?

3. How much free space is there on the drive that the Documents folder is located on?

Thanks.

Hi there,

Answers to questions:

1. Attached 1(1).png
EGGER Dekorprogramm

thanks
Ralf

Thanks a lot, Ralf.

The problem is that the material file (.MTT) is 0.8 GB.

That will take quite long to save/load.

1. Are you using any high-resolution texture files for your materials? Or just any texture files that are quite large?

2. If so, please try to re-save the textures in a compressed format, e.g. .JPG format and at lower resolutions (we recommend maximum 2048x2048 pixels for detailed materials).

Does this make the .MTT file smaller?
