Does the latest version of lumion support the ability to make interactive walkthroughs ?

Also does lumion have a mesh database / ready to use meshes for the sketckup plugin ?

Hi Calvin, 'interactive walkthroughs' is a broad question.

Can you elaborate a bit on what you mean?

Also does lumion have a mesh database / ready to use meshes for the sketckup plugin ?

No, we do not provide a model library for SketchUp.

You can see which models we include in the built-in Model Library inside Lumion in the following article:

Knowledge Base: Which models are available in the Model Library?

Is that what you meant?

interactive as in i control a model / pov then navigate around the structure using arrow keys.Sort of like a fps video game where you navigate around the world with first person pov.

Or

at the very least the ability to navigate around a structure created with first person pov, controllable via keyboard control(not to be confused with predefined set paths).

Thanks for the clarification.

Lumion allows you to move the camera around your Scenes with the Arrow Keys or AWSD.

This is in flythrough mode by default and the camera can fly through the models. There's no walkthrough mode, although it is possible to place the camera at eye level by clicking on a button in Photo, Panorama and Movie Mode (see the screenshot below).

If you'd like to try it for yourself, we offer a Lumion 9.0.2 Pro Trial version which is available from your local reseller. This version is valid for 7 days from the date of issue and works just like the full commercial version.

Here's how to get Lumion 9.0.2 Pro Trial:

would it be possible for you to show a demo video for the same ?

Can you give me a link for the trial version directly. If it works out as intended, then i will buy the software outright.
As for the flyby mode is it only working with lumion viewer for presentation purpose ?

Sure, you can see the keys and mouse in action at 3:18 in the following video tutorial:

Video Tutorial: Lesson 1 - Getting Started and Importing a Model

The rest of the Lumion 9 video tutorials are available on this page:

Video Tutorials: Lumion 9 - Tutorials

Can you give me a link for the trial version directly.

There's no direct link. To get Lumion 7.5 Trial or Lumion 9.0.2 Pro Trial, please follow these instructions:

Knowledge Base article: Is there a Trial version of Lumion?

You can move the camera around with the AWSD or Arrow Keys, both in Lumion and in Lumion Viewer.

Whether you should use one or the other depends on whether you want to be able to edit the Scene (for example some materials) during the flythorugh. If you don't need that, you can use the Lumion Viewer which is available to Lumion Pro license holders (this also applies to Lumion 9.0.2 Pro Trial).
