[Resolved] Expired Student License Key

Hi, So my license expired back in March because I did not realize that I could not use Lumion for Mac. I just got a new windows computer so that I could run the program but now an error message shows up saying that an email was sent to me, however, I never got the email with the license key to download the program to my computer. I am hoping there will be an easy solution. Thanks.

I can't see any Student License Keys under your edu. email address.

If your Student License Key was issued more than 365 days ago, please follow these instructions to apply for a new one:

If you already applied for a second Student License Key within the past 365 days, please let us know which email address you used when applying for the Student License Key so we can look it up, either by posting it here or by sending the email address to [email protected]

Hello again. I used my [email protected] email the first time and when that did not work I used my [email protected] email. Thanks for the help I really appreciate it.

The only License Key that's registered with either of those email addresses is a Lumion 9.3 Trial License Key which expired two weeks after it was issued on the 22nd of March 2019.

I don't see any Lumion Pro Student License Keys under your name or email addresses.

Did you use a different email address when applying for a Lumion Student Pro License Key? Or is there a chance that you never applied for such a License Key and that you might be remembering the Lumion 9.3 Trial License Key?

Okay so I can go through exactly what I did so that clears it up a bit more. I clicked on the button that says verify my us status with paypal and so i created a paypal account. Once i did this it took me back to the Lumion site where i was then asked to put my university name, first and last name, birth date and the email that i want the download info to go to. Once i did all of that, it said thanks and we'll email you soon once we verify that youre a student in the US. Since then i have not gotten an email for the download. The email i used for that was my outlook.com email.

I then repeated this process again with my gmail.com email because I thought that it got messed up somehow. I went through all of the steps again, however, when i finished filling out the info that lumion needed it said that i already have a registered license.

As no License Key exists yet, we'll need to forward your question to the developers, so they can take a look over the coming week.

In the meantime, can you also let us know what the Gmail address is, please?

For sure, it is [email protected] Is there any way that this can be figured out today? I have a deadline for tomorrow and i thought this whole download thing would be an easy process. Thank you so much for all your help seriously.

It's unfortunately not possible to investigate this issue today as our developers only work from Monday to Friday.

Was this a typo? Did you mean to say your .edu email account?

Sorry to bother you but I just wanted to let you know that I got an email from SheerID saying that I was verified yesterday, January 4 for being a student in the USA. I do not know if this helps at all speed things up a bit. Thanks.

Hi there,

This past November I downloaded the Lumion 8.5 student version and I tried to use it again today and it said License Expired and I couldnt get to any menus or anything to re-add my license or activation code. I was wondering if I am supposed to upgrade or what I have to do in order to get it to work again.
