PHISHING ATTEMPT ON A FAKE LUMION WEBSITE

One of our users has informed us that he has received an email with the subject line "Updating Your Forum Account" (See the screenshot below). The sender of the email is "[email protected]". Notice the l instead of an i in the domain name.

The email states that you need to update your forum account "... in preparation for the Lumion 6.0 update".

If you click on any of the links in the email it takes you to a fake login page on a fake Lumion site (lumlon3d.com). The scammer is essentially trying to steal your forum login name and password.

Please do not enter your details on that website!

If you have already filled in your details on the page, please immediately change your forum password and send an email to [email protected], so we can provide you with further instructions.

We've already contacted the webhost and requested that they take down the site. In addition, we will report the owner of the website to the police.
